Visiting Cluj Napoca

Perla is a nice spot in Zorilor, just 2km from the city center. The food is freshly made and prices are lower than in most places around. We had the ciorbă țărănească and grilled chicken drumsticks—both tasty. Worth a visit if you want good food without spending too much!

Excellent food at half the price

Our hotel was in the Zorilor neighbourhood which was about a 30min walk uphill from the city centre so rather than walk down the hill to eat at an expensive restaurant we decided to eat out in our neighbourhood. At first we asked for menu's in English and a very rude but rather pretty blonde lady said to us abruptly "No menu's in English". So, we left and went back to our room and brushed up on basic ordering of food in Romanian. Now we knew what we were ordering from the Romanian menu. A much younger brunette girl waited on us and she was VERY nice and attentive and spoke very good English. She was impressed with our language skills. We ended up going there two nights in a row. We ordered schnitzel and chips, mixed grill, and Chiorba which is a sour soup containing meatballs, rice, and sour cream. All the food there was fabulous and the beer was cheap and good as well. The prices here were half what they were in the centre where they had English menu's. I strongly recommend this place in the Zorilor district of Cluj-Napoca.

A good place to eat good and feel good.

It is a great place to eat, drink and have a party. The waiters are kind and helpful and the food is wonderful. The portions are big and the menu well thought. I think I tried it all and can't wait to go there again. It is a favorite place to go to when in Cluj.

Very good food

It is an old fashion restaurant, but with very good food and nice people! I highly recommend it! We ate here many timesand I recommend the fried icecream and penne carbonara.

The food was excellent, a large variety of drinks. The waiters was very friendly and quick.

Good food!

Very good food at good price. Yes, it s not Michelin starred but it has one of the best kitchens from the city.

Old fashion restaurant

And by old i do not mean traditional food :) it`s a place located in the Zorilor neighborhood where you can grad a quick lunch or drink some beers while watching a game. It`s good to go out with friends , but for sure not your fisrt or second choice if you want to have a culinary experince.

Poor everything

The food Isn't good, the staff tried it's best, but still not work. It's smells fishy in the restsurant. At noon kids from nearby kindergartens come to eat lunch there and it gets very loudy and crowded.

Bad service with poor quality food

I used to eat here sometimes, the food was okay-ish...sometimes not very well cooked, until one day when i even found multiple plastic pieces in my lunch. I don't recommend this one.
