A rich and intensely sweet dessert wine from the Jerez region of Spain, produced by the historic Bodega Valdespino. It is made from 100% Pedro Ximénez grapes that are sun-dried to concentrate their sugars and aged in a traditional solera system for approximately 10 years. Each bottle is famously accompanied by a small padlock and key, which gives the wine its name, 'El Candado'.
