A classic Italian aperitif cocktail created in the 1860s at Gaspare Campari's bar in Milan. It is named after the origins of its two primary ingredients, Milano (Milan) for Campari and Torino (Turin) for sweet vermouth, and is the historical predecessor to the Americano and Negroni.
