The Soviet

I can’t get over how much personality this bar has. Every corner is decorated with quirky Soviet-era items, which makes it perfect for photos but also just fun to explore while you sip. The cocktail menu is huge—you can go classic, experimental, or non-alcoholic—and each drink is made with care. I tried a few different ones, all were well balanced and flavorful, especially the Birds Milk, which was creamy and not too sweet. Staff are knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic, which adds so much to the experience. They also run regular events, so even if you’ve been before, there’s always something new happening. Between the beautiful courtyard, attentive staff, and amazing drinks, this bar is a solid 5-star experience in my book.

Came here for a casual night with a few friends and ended up staying for hours. The outdoor seating is so inviting, especially when the weather is nice, and the whole bar has this playful, immersive vibe. We did the shot roulette, shared a few beers, and sampled a variety of cocktails—the flavors were all balanced and creative, nothing too sweet or boring. What impressed me the most was how attentive the staff were. They gave great suggestions based on what we liked, and even explained the history behind some of the drinks. The mix of Russian-themed decor with modern cocktails is honestly genius, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Definitely a go-to spot now!

The Soviet is such a unique spot, honestly one of the best bars I’ve been to in the city. From the moment you walk in, the Soviet-era decor grabs your attention—the old propaganda posters, vintage electronics, and even the music really transport you to another time. I tried the warm Compot with Rum first, which was perfectly spiced and cozy, then moved on to Lapte de Pasăre, and wow… it instantly became my favorite cocktail here. The staff are incredible too, friendly, helpful, and really know their drinks. The atmosphere is lively but never overwhelming, and sitting in the courtyard during summer was a perfect way to spend the evening with friends. They have Happy Hour from 5–8 pm, which makes trying multiple cocktails super affordable. Honestly, I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s fun, quirky, and the drinks are truly next level.

Traiasca partidul!

Mâncarea a fost extraordinară. Ospătarul a fost foarte drăguț și amuzant. Experiență extrem de bună, totul făcut proaspăt, de casă. Vă recomand!

Foarte buna mancarea , foarte draguta domnisoara care ne-a servit .

Cocktail-uri minunate, diverse, cu denumiri amuzante. Personal amabil, dragut, uneori ne ofera shot-uri din partea casei. Totusi, a devenit destul de scump in ultima vreme. Obisnuia sa fie printre barurile affordable

Ovidiu a fost un băiat extrem de fain.
