Jägermeister is a traditional German herbal liqueur, or Kräuterlikör, made from a secret blend of 56 different herbs, blossoms, roots, and fruits. Developed in 1934 by Curt Mast, it is aged in oak barrels for a year and is commonly served as an ice-cold shot or digestif.
